I can't create a uPlay account.

I just bought the game earlier today and when I go to create an account, i type in my email but it says "The e-mail you entered is invalid or not available. Please try a different one." I tried with my other email account and it said the same thing. I don't understand what's wrong as I have access to these email accounts just fine.

Have you tried to go to the uPlay website? Try there and if that doesn't work you should probably try and seek support directly from Ubisoft.

Welcome to Uplay. It's an absolute ♥♥♥♥ service and no one should buy games linked to it.

Sorry, I'm not just trying to be an unhelpful ass. I am currently trying to play an older game that, remarkably, is still linked to this joke online service. It keeps seeing my email as invalid, despite the fact that I can log into my account through their website.

I submitted the issue to them but really...? This is Ubisoft. Their Uplay service never worked and I'll be lucky to access the game I paid for some 8 years ago (Splinter Cell: Blacklist) now. They are straight up thieves.

So how does one go about making sure it uses the Connect launcher? I've installed the Connect launcher but when I launch the game in Steam I still get the UPlay sign-in page
