Can you Play on Mac OS without the cable?
I have a MOTU 896 HD and a Presouns iTwo interfaces. I have guitar rig etc but I'm looking around and I'm not so sure I can get this to work without the cable. I have a ton of studio gear the last thing I need is another USB cable. Seriously it's like a spider web in here already. Is there a trick to get this to work so we can play some RockSmith and have some fun?

I appreciate the help thanks!

For your input device:
Open Audio MIDI Setup
Go to Audio Devices
Click + on the bottom, choose "Create Aggregate Device"
Name your new device "Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter"
There should be a list of audio devices on the lower right, click the one you want to use.
Set it to 48khz

For output select whatever you want to use. RS will set it to 48khz when it starts but I've had better performance if I then go in and switch it to 192Khz after RS loads up. Sometimes the audio is even initially garbled and doing this resets the audio system and clears it up.

Of course just like any other input object, why didn't I think of that? Thank you kindly Mr. Newton I owe you one!

Well I wish everything worked but it didn't. When I go to calibrate the meter doesn't move. You can hear the guitar blaring through the speakers, the meter is in the red but nothing on the RS calibration meter. The weird thing is when I select cable it doesn't let me select a device. When I select Microphone I can select my audio interface but neither will make the RockSmith calibration meter move. The mufugger is blaring loud too. Any ideas?

I have a case open with Ubi and I've cross posted this is a couple of places. If I get it working Wood Fetch I'll post back here. Everyone I've spoken with seems pretty stumped. I still have to wonder if that cable driver is needed to make it work even with an interface.
