song not starting
when i load a song it wont actually play after i tune? it loads the notes but they just sit there

No songs start
Just reinstalled rocksmith due to a ssd memory corruption, and no songs even base RS2014 will start. It loads past tuning with the amps and difficulty "roadmap" or whatever show up but it just stops then kicks back to the song list, any suggestions?
Yes, do a file check - right click the game in steam, choose properties and then the tab local files - then verifiy - if something is missing it will be downloaded again

when i verify a game file it says itll redownload 1, it redownloads 1, and then when i launch the game it isnt working still, so i verify again, it redownloads again, and it still doesnt work, ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, reinstalling on a different hard drive, it just wont work

I spent years creating and downloading custom songs, now they won't start.
I tried completely removing the game then reinstalling, checking the files, formatting the computer, making other versions of the custom content, and now, not even the ones I bought from Steam Store are opening...
Such a disappointment! Help me!

EDIT
When I can start the bought content, the game crashes during the gameplay.
There's a terrible delay before/during the game. I strum and almost a second later the sound comes out.

It started around September 15 - 18, right after I purchased a song

Additionally, you mention the song Slit Wrist Theory in your case notes, which is a custom modded song. Please note that we so not officially support modifications to our game as it does not guarantee the experience we intend. When did you first start using modified songs?

Actually, before start purchasing songs, I used to create/download custom songs. They worked for over 2 years. In September 27, 2018 I purchased System of a Down and Smashing Pumpkins song pack, as the first official song packs I own.

Sure, I can add. But I formatted the system last week and when I finished, the first thing I tried was to play a purchased song, then I installed the updates (as no songs worked).
