Crashes on Load/Create Profile

have roughly 7,000 songs in dlc folder and used rocksmith toolkit to add the songs, just bought Rocksmith Remastered and am having the same issue of it crashing on the Profile select...need help please..

Best way to start the debug process.

1. Get rid of all DLC that is not Ubi supplied.
2. Verify the install using steam
3. Try again
if that doesn't work
1. Un install rocksmith and reload.

Hi Litten, I just bought the game in order to learn how to play a little bit, and it never even starts past the creating profile screen, no error, just crashes and turns off. Any clues?

Our team are aware of this issue, and are currently investigating further. In the meantime, you should be able to play by launching in offline mode in the meantime.

Yes, I figured that out by blocking the game on my firewall, but since then I've unblocked it and it's working just fine now. Thank you for your answer.

sorry for late reply back, so here's an update : i've removed all the songs and the game will run, but even if i add just 1 song it wont appear only like 30 preinstalled songs... was't sure if it's an online/offline issue with detecting ubisoft songs vs customforge songs or if it's cause i don't ''own'' cherub rock?

Did you buy and install Cherub Rock from the smashing pumpkins? All songs on customforge use that songs api, so you have to have it installed in order to get the custom ones to work.

Are the songs you adding custom, or are they official song packs? Please note that we do not officially support any modifications to our game as it does not guarantee the experience we intend.

so update, i bought Churb Rock and it made all the songs appear in game, but they still Freeze after Tuning... i did the D3dx9 Dll 42 and 43 file update thing in root rocksmith folder, idk what else to do... dumped more money into the game and still cant play it.....
