Easiest song to learn?

Hey guys. I'm planing to buy this game. What's the easiest song to learn. I never really played guitar before. Other than Rock Band haha.

Just try a bit of everything, I'm focusing on Spirit of the Radio by Rush at the moment, while also playing stuff like War Ensemble by Slayer, and finding it easier than playing stuff like Say It Aint So by Weezer.

The game levels you up as you play if you want, so you don't have to jump straight into playing the entire thing, I'm in a similar boat, I have only played the two Rocksmith games (about 50 hours in total), although I am a drummer.

depends on your tastes, play which ever song you like, no point in learning songs because people consider them easy. That is a sure way to make you not enjoy playing your guitar. You want to have fun while playing....otherwise whats the point? try the rhythm guitars first, they are the slightly easier parts to the songs. Dont get hung up on playing songs either get on those guitarcade games and practice techniques if you want to improve and get faster. (your fingers are going to hurt) :)

The easiest song is surely Blitzkrieg Bop, but you can also sort songs by difficulty, although I am not sure how good that is.

They're potentially all kinda hard until you learn the fingering of the chords. And then it depends on which chords you learn first :)

However, if you get DLC, a couple of the Black Keys songs (Next Girl in particular) are pretty easy to play, single notes pretty much around one position on the neck.

Yep, Blitzkrieg Bop is definitely the easiest of the songs I've played.
At master level it's still just four powerchords.

If you've got the old songs/dlc, next girl or gold on the ceiling by the black keys are both easier than blitzkrieg rock, imo.

Easiest bass song is def "where is my mind - the pixies"

Rocksmith 1 bass? That has to be "Chimney". Maybe 2-3 thries for perpect score.

Well I can think of a few. If you know basic power chords then Blitzkrieg Bop is pretty simple. So is Sixteen Saltines and You Really Got Me. If you know your basic open chords like G, E, A, D and so forth then try Knocking On Heavens Door. It's mostly just simple open chords strummed.
