Yeah but I thought it would be gone forever! I'm so happy now!
2014 with rocksmith+ engine is even a possibility now!
Lol. Not in the slightest, Plus runs on a totally different engine.
This 2014 Learn and Play edition is just the old version without the previous delisted licensed songs, some DLC that are from their own make, and you can still buy the existing DLC that are not yet delisted. They all have a 10 year license from date of American publication.
So take in mind there's still all the problems that the old one has with newer systems, hard and software. As a bit of solace, you can still use cdlc with a new updated mod.
I know that, but I knew they could release 2014 without the songs if they wished. It surprised me they actually did because in my head they want everyone on rocksmith+. However, the timing is a bit problematic. Ubisoft is in a lot of financial trouble and this game came out december I think. So I see this more as a exception. Hell maybe it could get delisted again once all the songs expire.
