On Roland Quad-Capture i put Driver Settings
Enable ASIO Direct Monitor
Enable Low Latency Mode
Enable Match With ASIO sample rate
On Windows Audio Config i put 48000 bitrate on playback and microphone and increased all the levels to 100%
Together with the rocksmith.ini it must work.
I finally figured out how to make Rocksmith 2014 work with RME Babyface, with exclusive mode ENABLED. It enhances the performance GREATLY.
In the Fireface USB settings window, the default buffer size setting is 256. With this setting, with the exclusive mode enabled, Rocksmith 2014 will just be muted. If you increase it, you will get audio but it'll be all messed up and crackly.
However: If you set it to 96 samples OR LOWER, it will work! I currently run Rocksmith 2014 with a 48 sample buffer, and LatencyBuffer set to 2 in rocksmith.ini. The difference is incredible!
(P.S. With these settings, the video will be lagging badly behind audio if you still got the video latency setting at 50. I turned it straight to 0, and now it's perfectly in sync.)
(P.P.S. Your mileage probably may vary depending on how powerful your rig is. With the last-generation i7 920, I've had no problems so far.)
Cheers and have fun!
I have been. Rocksmith will simply not play on any device by my HDIM, I guess because its my primary display device which some how makes the audio channel in it the default audio. Even when disabled, the game refuses to use my Realtek HD audio on board device.
