Possibility to view song notes or tabs
Some times even RR (rithm repeater) is not usable when you learn some hard rithm or hard part of song solo.
For example i can't catch how to play end of part that I am learniong now, and with RR it is not convenient to learn, because I have to set the minimum speed and wait when it comes to desired part, and if i need to repeat i have to do it again and again.
It will be very useful for me if I can just view notes of song.
Can someone advise something?

You could always look for tabs at ultimate-guitar. They're fairly accurate. You don't always need to use this as a learning tool. :p

You can use the riff repeater for small parts of the sound too, just explore it.
Also, you can invert the view and voilá.. you have something like tabs.

If you set the tab to like "tab view" or something like that under the settings menu, you'll be able to see the fretboard on screen look like guitar tabs. It inverts the strings so it'll look like guitar tabs.

Tools | Options | Play Settings | Invert Strings

This will show the low E string (the red string) at the bottom of the fretboard.

If you've never used this before it will throw you, because it doesn't match the screen to the fretboard in the same way, but I highly recommend that you do so (you get used to it faster than you think you will) because when you search out tablature on the net it will be written this way.

You have to remember that RS will always show the fretboard this way, even for the tuner, so pay attention.

You can get blank guitar tab sheets and, using the Riff Repeater and judicious pausing, tab it out yourself. That will give you a printed copy and you'll have studied it closely while doing so.

It would be awesome if RS had some way of printing out tabbed versions of its songs, or even getting them from Ubi's web site, but I'm guessing there are licensing issues that would prevent that.

Andulv has created a TAB explorer for rocksmith which can be found on GitHub: https://github.com/andulv/RSTabExplorer

I didn't have a recent version of Visual Studio so I've attempted to get it working on .Net 4.0 but may have introduced some bugs. You can download it here: https://github.com/Jamedjo/RSTabExplorer/releases

It displays sheet and tab for any song/path/difficulty.

Edit: Updated link

Run the program and open "songs.psarc" from your Rocksmith2014 folder e.g. "C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Rocksmith2014\songs.psarc"

It will then show sheet and tab for any song/path/difficulty.
wow, thx man !

I've released a new version which makes it easier to load tracks from a Steam install.

What about using youtube to view the video and then you can pause and continue much easier? I thought about downloading some HD videos and buying one of those track wheel type devices to scroll the video left/right to see the individual notes/chords...to lazy to do any of it at the moment ;-)

Nice, that's awesome. Exactly what I was looking for.
Only thing that's missing is an option to export the tabs to PDF or print it directly.
