번역 관련 문제 보고
It seems like once you install retail version in steam steam gives a differnt key.
(in view cd-key)
if so look at the steam key instead,if it is differnt then the retail one, then you might have to make another ubi account and use the steam key or contact ubi and ask them to fix this prob.
As it's the steam key you put in you're ubi client not the retail cd-key so it seems.
The prob is ppl using the retail key in ubi client instead of the steam key you get once installed from retail.
Well, seems that Ubisoft Germany won't be helping this chap. Over at the Ubisoft board (here[forums.ubi.com]) he claimed that they will not deregister the game from his Uplay account and that he has to create both a new Uplay account and Steam account, then use a new key they will provide him, in order to solve this conundrum...
Open Steam window , click steam > settings > Ingame. Then tick the "Enable Steam Community in game" box, then OK. Back into Rocksmith and it immediately hit the server, the shop now works, got a free track for achievements
I unticked & ticked, and it works !
Before that I was unable to connect to Ubi server in Rocksmith.
The fix for this reported error is to NOT use the default DNS on their router. That DNS is usually something like 192.168.254.254 or the ip address of the router itself. The DNS should be set to an external public DNS such as OpenDNS or Googles DNS.
On the PS3 Internet Setup they should manually set the primary and secondary DNS as follows:
Set the primary to OpenDNS = 208.67.222.222
set the secondary to Google = 8.8.8.8
You can down load a program called Namebench and it will determine the best DNS server for you to use. Using that program is beyond what I am willing to enter here. You can google Namebench and read all about using that program yourself. The DNS I entered above are probably going to work for you.
