You're right though, they should have a tutorial about that somewhere. I know Rock Band 3 did the same thing, and they had an arpeggio lesson pretty early on. On a related note, I really do love how RS2014 shows you where your fingers should be, even when it's not necessarily a chord being played. Saves you some trial and error or going to watch a video showing someone else playing the song.
Weird thing though, I checked the "Technique guide" for this song, and it only told me there were Chords in there, not arpeggios.
Well, at least if gives me a chance to practice fingerplucking!
