Best DLC for fun songs that also are great teachers of mechanics?
Basically what songs would you say are good at teaching techniques without being extraordinarily difficult?

Othewise, what DLC would you say is just plain fun for people of all skill levels?

Roy Buchanan - “Sweet Dreams” you will have a blast with slides and bends with this one.Gerat song with a country flavor ---- Gary Clark Jr. - Bright Lights but this one is 2012 DLC so be careful dont know if this works without owning the 2012 edition

I own both, it's a relatively cheap song pack and I enjoyed Next Girl when I played on the PS3.

If you sort you learn a song list by dificulty. you can get a general idea.If you have mutiple people playin have them make their own profile and it will level each acaordingly.
I started my neice a few weeks ago and RS seems to be doing a good job of sorting for her.

Dobie Gray - Drift Away for octave work on the bass.

Fun to play would be Soul Man by the Blues Brothers (again, on bass), but it might be a bit fast for those just starting out. Back to Cali by Slash has interesting slides that help the enjoyment without being overly difficult.

Vaseline by STP is probably great for training your consistency, but only if you can get past the plodding monotony of doing the same hammer-on for the whole damn song :gs_stomped:

Every tune from the black keys is freakingly easy to play.
It's a lesson for begginers: no matter how stupid the melody is, it can still sound right with the proper effects (having someone hammering the drums helps).

On bass I would say any prog rock. Particulary, Rush. With dynamic difficulty the term insane is easy mitigated especially with riff repeater. This style of music is going to give you many different looks at timing, chord changes and rhythm changes.:2014bass:

On lead guitar I would say Boston. His mutes and clean play was admired by many, even Jimi Hendrix.:2014lead:

On rhythm guitar I would say about any of the 80s power rock, particularly Def Leopard. Power chords galore they are always fun. :2014rhythm:

DISCLAMER: This opinion, like many others, is purely subjective based on the originators viewpoint. It is not supported by Ubisoft or Steam and in no way should it be taken as a license to play songs of the above mentioned artists unless the user is willing to accept full risk of having fun and leaning something at the same time.:2014pick:
