It forced me to trust my ears instead of my eyes, and my play is now locked to what I'm listening.
Musically speaking it's way better than the other way around.
I'm still using the display of course but it's more of a reminder of what I'm supposed to play for the next mesure. Some kind of easy to read score.
That's the thing, the settings don't go beyond 0, and the 0 option is not enough. If I put it higher than 0, the visuals are there even earlier.
I just sometimes find it difficult to see what Rocksmith wants me to do when I don't know the song well or when I'm playing at lower difficulties because of the visuals not being correct.
I totally get it. It was difficult for me as well. I'm not trying to restrain you for fixing your issue though, I'm just saying worse case scenario you can still practice and focus on listening. It's harder but it pays off.
It's so strange that they never fixed it. Luckily like you said, the scoring is seperate from the visuals, so you can still play, but it's a shame, really.
