That will, however, depend on your PC and your PC savvy.
Consoles are better for those who are not PC savvy and/or don't want to mess installing games, tweaking settings, and keeping a PC up-to-date.
The PC version works great too. I got it because it is hard to get the TV away from the family. You also need to make sure you hook up the audio correctly to prevent lag. But, how good it works depends on what else you have running/installed... system configuration... etc. That is not a concern on the consoles as they only run the game you are playing, and the configurations are standard.
Also, any kind of antivirus scanning can lead to poor performance.
You might want to try and run in windowed mode. Then you can see if your up and down, or mouse can scroll in other windows with the rocksmith game running in another window.
tried reverifying cache rebooting still will not play. sent a copy to ubisoft. they haven't been much help although i did hear from them yesterday they told me to update all my drivers which i checked and they are all up to date. i hope whem i get rocksmith(the original) i don't have as many problems. bought a copy off ebay should be here by next saturday.
*** I see you have tried this, sorry it didnt help.
