Strictly speaking: Rocksmith and nothing else.
If you want to record tho, you will have to disable this. You can do so in the Rocksmith ingame menu by unticking the box and then restarting the game. The slight difference in delay is somewhat annoying in my opinion, so I gave up on recording sound. Try it yourself tho.
Hmm, I remember configuring my cable before I first started Rocksmith. Yours might not be configured correctly, but that's just a guess.
Try doing the following: Open up your windows sound input settings > choose your Rocksmith Real Tone Cable, then hit properties > in the advanced tab, make sure it's set to "1 channel, 16bit and 48k Hz (DVD Quality)". Then check the two exclusivity boxes below, hit apply and try again.
If this doesn't work, I'm clueless =/
Edit: While you're at it, put the DVD Quality thing for your default speakers too.
My issue is that in OBS I can see the "Desktop Audio" meter moving picking the game sound, but after recording and playing back the recorded file there is no sound. Only the video. I cannot find the solution anywhere.
What I noticed is that under Windows' Sound settings > Advanced There is a tick mark in "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" If I un-check that box then I'll received the same message about there is no guitar cable attached and won't let me continue.
Anyone out there that can help?
Thanks
