Xbox / PC same cable?

I have the first rocksmith for xbox 360. Can I use that cable to play on pc? I hope they made it that way. I'm not going to spend the full amount to buy another cable.

lol It be a total rip off if they weren't compatible but yea its a universal cable so you're good to go if buying rocksmith on pc and using ps3/xbox360 cable that came with it
