Audio Issues (how to play with headset?)

Anyone have sucess using headset...

Everytime i start the game with headphones i get a wierd "no audio devices selected, please restart the game with a default audio device selected"

This only happens with my headphones enabled, I heard people got it to work but theres a lag or the audio is not synced

Anyone have a good work around or a guide that worked for them to allow them to play with head phones

I use wired headphones all the time, never had an issue. - I tried some wireless ones but they were cheap and the sound was horrible but they did work.

I have the G930 but I don't use them [sometimes have interferance] so I plug in my sennheisers and use them.

I have a cheap pair of noise cancelling wired headphones and they work great.

Yeah. Plug in your headset. Right click your computers sound icon under your hidden icons tab. Bottom right by the time. (Unless you disabled it in the registry) Select headphones as the default when using that particular jack as a headphone jack. Each P.C. is different. Everyone's audio software is different. Do some research on:

Version of O.S. your running.
MoBo.
Sound Software included on such MoBo.
I am afraid its not a "Silver Bullet" type scenerio.

I just plug mine in the audio out and they work.... the computer does tell me that I just plugged them in, much to my shagrin but I can live with that.

You also don't want to use wireless only wired The lag is too large on wireless to effectively play with your guitar. I learned this the hard way.

One thing I do to reduce any lag, I make sure all of my service like anti-virus, dropbox, windows updates are all off so they are doing anything in the background while I am playing, it works pretty well to keep the songs moving along. I do find that sometimes I will get a little lag it usually looks like a stutter but it's rare and the game is very playable on my laptop.
