can't enter steam password

I downloaded Rocksmith 2014 from steam when I get to the screen to enter email and password all it lets me do is enter email and not go the the space to enter password.
I did originally own the game I had the disk for but with my new computer I have no cd rom any ideas what I can co or who to contact thanks

That sounds funky.

Just use the mouse and click in the password field.

Nothing should stop you from doing that.

If you've got the game registered with Steam, you don't need the disc anymore ... AFAIK.

If you can't log into steam, how are you posting on steam? On an old computer somewhere or via the web? You issue is the steam ap not RS. What operatingt system is your new computer? You should be fine with windows or apple. I think steam even works on linux, but RS doesn't.

Are you sure it is the Steam password? I am guessing it is the UPlay login. Lots of folks don't use it or hit "esc" to skip it.

Again guessing, but maybe you didn't create a UPlay account yet...do a google search and it should come up. I did it at the beginning, but that was a year ago ;-)
