Extract tone from songs?
Hi, just played a song where the bass had an amazing sound. Is there someway to transfer it from the song into tone designer?

It is great fun to load 3 tones up in your presets that you like. Then on a song change the bass tone to a new one and experiement.

Well, just becareful not to edit the tone. If you have a modeling amp or a Fender Mustang II Floor, you can take the setting for the tone and load them into your amp....

Are you doing this manually, or is there a way to transfer the settings from RS to the Mustang?

I have to do it manually. and know of no other way

Well, I do it manually... But, you know that would be a great improvement to Rocksmith.

Just, copy the setting down load the Fender Fuse software. Then save it and load it later when you want to play that song.

I was going to do this but once I could plug RS through my AMP I just haven't messed with it. I guess I should in case I should ever want to play the songs without RS ;-)

OK, so bring this back to the top again. Does anybody know if there is a way to extract the tone settings to a file to look at. It is very painful to go through the tones one by one to duplicate in my pedalboard setup.

Maybe a file where they are stored? Or someting of the sort.

I dont think so i just do one by one . I looked a while back and found nothing
I also save them to my fender fuse files

A tool to export all the tones for various modelling solutions would be awesome. But as there is no standard and every modeller has different effects and settings this will most likely remain a dream...

I know, I just got a TC Nova System, and want to get some of the tones into it. But the "Tone Editor" in RS is very cumbersome. I guess it was designed with gamers in mind, as opposed to musicians. Oh well, no biggie, I'll just do a few artists at a time.
