Ah, I misunderstood and assumed OP only posted *because* there was an older Mac version that worked on 15.3 but now is borked on 15.4. Ty for the clarification.
I will be much interested if the mini computer you got works fine and what exactly have you got. Would be greatly appreciated, if you would drop a line here.
I understand you might be upset at the state of the software and the company that owns it (the state of the industry and the fact that I know these companies are selling us sh*t and calling it gold has got me existentially depressed as a software engineer) but--respectfully--you need to lead your answers with this "fix." Everyone posting in here is just trying to get their Rocksmith stuff working again after it got broken with the Apple update, but you definitely had me convinced earlier in this thread that there was barely any chance of getting something working. I understand you can probably google the fix, but people come here to try and get answers that are *hopefully* more direct than what a google search could provide.
That being said, if you could post exactly what the *fix* is here that would be great. It could possibly save one or more of the above posters from having to throw $50 at the problem for a mini-computer when an afternoon of setting-up an older Mac OS version on another harddrive would suffice.
Edit for clarification: Really not trying to dog on you or be negative; just trying to make people understand that there is hope for them if they want to try and play the game.
I’m pretty sure the poster is implying that the fix is to roll back your OS to 15.3. Which, is an option, but obviously not an ideal one for software that still has sellable content in the Steam store. I do like your sentiment that I quoted above. Doing nothing will obviously not help.
If they are selling DLC for this, then Ubisoft should minimally upkeep its operation through updates.
To understand the situation and not complain about the situation are two different things, you get that?. What I really don‘t understand is why you are trying to silence the complaints.
Sorry if my post just muddied things; I really tried to change the tone to emphasize that we just needed someone to directly say "Roll back your OS" because not everyone who comes to these forums for help will actually even know that rolling back the OS is an option.
When dealing with troubleshooting, never overestimate someone's knowledge. I can't tell you how many instances where I've assumed a client has done the most basic steps, only to ask them 2 hours later to just power cycle something :/
So, I guess, my saving grace is my 11 year old MBP, to keep playing. Good luck everyone, finding a workaround on the modern hardware/OS.
Download at your own risk, but the 15.3.2 worked for me.
