Rocksmith® 2014 Edition - Remastered - Can it still be installed?

If I get a new desktop or laptop, how do I avoid "Learn and Play" and install the original Remastered edition with its content?

If you bought it in the past, you can still install that version. Sometimes it can fail to install and try again and again, but eventually you will get it.
If you can get an original from internet or market place that still has a unused license key, (mostly from expensive scalpers), that also can be installed with using the key.

More important you shouldn't buy/install the altered L&P version since that could give conflicts because they removed the delisted songs. But are still available in the previous version.

Thanks. I bought the full remastered version from Steam a long time ago and still get a lot of enjoyment out of it, so I'd hate to lose it.

Sure, but take in mind that action can also delete any mods that are installed for necessary reasons. Make sure to have those back in place otherwise you got other problems instead

This is true and is why I actually keep a specific USB drive for Rocksmith that I replace every 2 years.
