Long time user - Hey all just a few questions. Thanks all!

Hey all. Just a few questions. First off, been playing instruments since I was like 13 and Im 52 now( drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, singing etc.

Ive played rocksmith 2014 and it taught me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ back in the day. Amazing game. I really learned a lot from my style and attribute it to the old rocksmith.

Just this summer Ive transitioned from 5 string Ibanez Bass to guitar full time. Picked up my first guitar from the Ibanez custom Rg line. And broke it in this past week playing rocksmith+ like 10 hours last week alone on PC and like 30 hours on my ps5. Love it so far.

So, today I see this!!!! Rocksmith 2014 remastered and it just came out yesterday!!!
Im like wtf? OK. I dont even have any CDs anymore lmao.

But I bought the 2014 remastered tonight just to support it.

I guess my question comes down to this - So how are you guys liking this remastered version compared to rocksmith+? Rocksmith+ seems to have everything right there. All digitally and I dont need CD's or music. Its just there for me and its convenient cause it's all digital.

I know ubisoft sucks - but my pc runs rocksmith+ great and so does my ps5. Ive never had issues running rocksmith+. I paid for a year worth of rocksmith+ just last week - in excitement just to see the game was still alive lmao.

Im like drooling over myself in awe that guitar/bass/etc games like this are coming back haha. Cause this game came out just yesterday on steam! Love this stuff!!!

I havent started the remastered version up yet. I may play Diablo tonight and have a few beers as I got them both for sale tonight too lol.

But Im curious what to expect from this when I do start it up tomorrow or whenever.

there's nothing new about this game (Learn and Play) besides the fact it doesn't have licensed music. So the songs you played "back in the day" like Bat Country and The Trooper are no longer in the game for example.
