You won't believe me but yesterday I just found the definitive solution to this mrd problem that has been bothering me for years
THIS MAY HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS:
-WHEN CONNECTING THE CABLE TO THE GAME, A HORRIBLE NOISE SOUNDS EVEN THOUGH THE GUITAR IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE CABLE
-WHEN PLAYING, THIS BACKGROUND INTERFERENCE IS ALWAYS THERE AND DEPENDING ON THE EFFECT, IT BECOMES MORE NOTORIOUS
-THIS CAN HAPPEN TO YOU WITH THE REALTONE CABLE OR WITH THE DIRECT MODE
(since I had a cable made with a large input and a small one at the other end to connect the guitar directly to the PC through the headphone input)
I always knew that it had to do with some interference due to static or bad grounding and yesterday, having the 2 cables connected, the realtone and the normal one, I discovered what next
SOLUTION!!!!!!!! (well the one that worked for me)
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE REAL TONE CABLE!!
CONNECT YOUR REALTONE CABLE NORMALLY AND START THE GAME, YOU WILL NOTICE THAT INTERFERENCE EVEN WITHOUT CONNECTING THE GUITAR, TAKE ANY NORMAL HEADPHONE CABLE IF POSSIBLE FROM MALE TO MALE
{LINK REMOVED}
LIKE THAT, ONE END CONNECT IT TO THE NORMAL MICROPHONE INPUT OF THE PC AND THE OTHER END THAT IS PUT IN A SMALL FLOWERPOT HAHA OR PUT IT IN YOUR PANTS, THE THING IS THAT YOU ARE TOUCHING THEM DIRECTLY TO DEFLECT THE STATIC AND READY!!!!!!!!!!!
FOR THOSE WHO USE DIRECT CONNECT!!!
EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE PREVIOUS STEP BUT YOU NEED YOUR PC TO HAVE 2 HEADPHONE INPUTS OR IT COULD WORK TO DO IT ON THE OTHER PC INPUT THAT IS LIGHT BLUE/SKY BLUE
PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR COMMENTS, COMMENT IF IT WORKED LIKE ME
GREETINGS COMMUNITY, I AM COMMENTING ON THIS BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOLUTIONS FOR YEARS AND NO ONE EVER SAID SOMETHING LIKE THIS, I WAS ABOUT TO CHANGE MY CABLE THAT I HAVE BEEN USING FOR MORE THAN 8 YEARS AND IT WAS ONLY STATIC
My question is even if you disable all of the microphones and you are using a realtone cable is the static sound still there? I have been having this problem as well but I don't have a male-to-male connect to try this method out. but let me know if disabling all microphones and not doing this trick still gives you static sound because I still do. I have been trying to find out how to get rid of it and nothing seems to work.
