In-game sound is very quiet on my mac

To hear something you need to raise the volume bar more than half of it. But the system sounds are getting very loud.
After that i can hear my guitar sound, but vocal and background sound are still too quiet.
Has anyone faced this problem on Mac or already solved?

When listening directly from my Mac, yes, I keep the volume well over 50% in order to get decent sound. I've just turned down the volume of system sounds.

Most of the time, I have the audio from my Mac going into a mixer, so I leave the Mac volume around 50% and control the actual volume from the mixer.

I have this happen as well. I have my Mac volume all the way up, but on certain songs all I can hear is crowd noise and my input--no band, no vocals. Not sure what this is but will keep watching to see if anyone figures it out.
