What guitar/gear do you use for rocksmith/jamming/playing/recording?

My Line 6 UX 1 w. POD FARM should be getting here today, and im really stoked, as it means I can jam on my computer and use it as an interface. Gonna buy the Polyphia POD FARM Patch Pack <3

Another question: How do you monitor POD FARM? Headphones/Monitors out of the interface, or out of your computer? Thanks.

How are you all connecting through your amplifiers?

I'm playing with my new 2014 American Deluxe Stratocaster and would like to use my Line 6 Spider IV 75. I also have the FBV Foot Switch.

I'm guessing I need some sort of splitter, but I want to make sure I get the right one so I don't have any unwanted noise.

Got the UX1, didnt realize I needed monitors or headphones with a guitar like (1/4? 1/8?) cable to use POD Farm ;_;

Bass - Gibson faded SG (brand new) and a headless Hohner Jack Bass Custom (~30 years old)

Guitar - Hohner strat copy (~30 years old), with everything (electrics, pickups, nut, pegs etc) swapped out, upgraded and fidded with over years.

I connect to the pc through a Studio Projects VTB1 tube preamp to get the line level up to a consistent level for Rocksmith to hear the notes.

I'm planning to get myself a very expensive Charvel guitar soon. I figure I deserve an upgrade after 30 years.

Guitars - Squier Telecaster, about 10 years old, repainted from metallic blue to metallic minty green, everything else is original. Also Sunsmile Les Paul copy, no idea about the age, hubucker have been swapped to some Tokai humbuckers

Podfarm is cool. Especially with the footboard as it controls it. I actually root the audio through my spider IV amp.

Nothing wrong about Ibby, love their 8 strings (Though for the price I could probably get something a little better in terms of features, maybe not quality)
