No video at all
Doesn't seem anyone else has had this specific problem, God knows I've been searching for hours now.

I have no video at all. I can see the menus. I can hear every sound. I 'finally' got tuned even without the video to show me the tuning thingie with the numbers on it. But no video anywhere in the whole game.

Like I said, I had no tuning meter to tune with. I also can't see video in the lessons. I can't see anything at all if I try to play a song.

Anywhere there would be graphics other than a menu, I see just a blank grey screen. Can someone please help me? It's nearly 5 a.m. here and I've been trying to get this game to work since like 1 a.m. so I'm going to bed but I'll be sure to check for answers in the morning (well later this morning I guess). Thank you.

So, if I am piecing this together right... By "no video at all" you mean that you have a the white background, but anywhere there should be an image (Example, where the stool and speakers sit) they are just grey holders for those images?

We would need you to list you computer specs... and more specificly what is your video card? Is that card directx compatible?

Processor is Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz 2.20GHz
I have 2GB of RAM
Running Vista
Video card is Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family

Let me know if you need anything else.

Ok, it looks like your graphics card is Directx 9.0 Compatable.... just barely. Your system specs are on the low end, but within the minimum requirements.

First, I would suggest to free up as much resources as possible. So, chat programs, game updaters, and thing that is running in that lower right corner by the clock... disable those from running at startup. NOTE: anything hardware related leave running.

Here is a link to some configuration advice on the Ubisoft forums. http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/802854-Rocksmith-2014-PC-Configuration-and-FAQ-Forums

I would suggest to try running in window mode: Set Fullscreen to 0 in the ini file. Maybe try setting Visual Quality to 0.

Also, maybe try lowering the resolution of the game.

Hi @FluffyMikeB did you ever solve this issue? I'm experiencing the exact same thing. Thanks.

I did, but only once I got a new computer. Sorry.

Hello, i have a same problem someone has resolved without buying a new pc? I also have a AmpliFi 30 of dthe Line6 and the sound feels very bad. If I take this amplifier and use the PC's sound card is fine but it's a pity not to use it. I'm italian, excuse for my english, take it with google translate!!!!
