Where is the chord book in this game?
I've gotten to the point where after a mission is complete, all it's telling me is that the chord book is a great place to go to look at chords I might need, or something like that. But I swear I've checked in every menu and I can't find anything of the sort.

All right, looked there, didn't see it. Then to try it out, I switched my instrument to lead guitar and looked again, then it was right there. So I guess it just doesn't show up for bass, and the game keeps telling me to check out something that doesn't apply to an instrument I have.

Have you done the Bass Guitar Lessons? There is at least one Power Chord lesson in there. And, there is an advanced or master level lesson which discusses Bass Guitar Chords.... I get the same comments about chords. I just never went looking in RS for the bass chord book. I have a Intro to the Bass book from Hal Lenerd.. However, most of the time, I just go into the riff repeater and write down the chords I need to learn along with the transition into and out of the chord.

Yeah, I've done at least one of those lessons, but I was wondering about the chord book specifically. And I'll do the other bass lessons later, I'm trying to space out the lessons a bit as a beginner.

I have the same problem, chord book just isn't there for bass but it is for guitar.

There are songs with chords for bass (I mean, of course, but in the game too). Just played one last week I cannot remember which ones but I will try to find it again and update on this tonight.

That's a fact. Still, I was not counting double stops, I swear. ^^

Ho, that might be that then, I played a lot of Drop D songs (I hate to retune my bass/guitar after every song so I sort by tunings). I wonder if it was any Foo Fighters or Avenged Sevenfold song I remember having played them a lot lately but both on guitar and then on bass. I might be mistaken on the band.

Hey I just remembered there are chords in Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden, which is one of my favorite songs in the game, I cannot understand how I missed this one. ^^'

This gets really annoying once you went through all missions in a section. Every new mission is pretexted with a hint to look at the non-existant bass chord book.
I don't even know WHY they would elude it in different paths. Just show the damned thing, 3+ notes make a basic chord and any regular bass has 4 strings.

Are you talking about missions or Rocksmith Recommended Items?
I have yet to see a mission that refers to the chord book directly.
Not the mission, it's the Message you get between finishing a mission and receiving the next.

Hey, power chords are real chords ! The easiest ones, but chords the same. :op
And I am pretty sure I have been told to check an A5 in a recommendation. (I have a very partial memory, I know)
