Ninja Slide-N Not reading slides?
Hey everybody. Anybody else have any trouble with Ninja Slide-N reading slides that go up the neck? I really only have the issue on my low E string, but since that's the string it always starts with I can't even play the game. 3 > 1 and 4 >2 are just not registering either at all or correctly.

I've tried re-tuning, but it doesn't seem to help.

You need to work on your technique most likely. It's much more sensitive to hit the note at the right time and then sliding. If you slide too fast, or too slow, it won't register.

Also, on the technique... you need to press enough to have the string touch the fret, but soft enough that you can easly do the slide.

Is this the case even when I am not having any problems with any other string but the E?

I had that problem too, in my case I was pressing too hard and as soon as I eased up NInja Slide picked up the slides fine.

The problem I had was timing. You have to strum and begin your slide motion at the same time. This is the critical bit. The little dude won't move unless you do this. It took me a while to realize that. I was strumming and then sliding. He doesn't like that. Once I realized it was all one motion he would move.

Now, getting him to stop on the correct fret is entirely different, but getting him moving was half the battle.

I have found with a few of these games that the amount of Sliding, bending or Harmonics you have to do affects the tuning and you can't pause and retune during the game which really get up my nose.

That was my exact problem! Thank you!
