Isn't the audio processing a rather intensive job? Would the iPad be able to handle that?

There are a number of guitar processing apps on the iPad, and tools like Jammit and Rock Prodigy that provide similar functionality to Rocksmith, so I would think the audio processing isn't the issue as much as the graphics.

Hopefully they'll redesign the interface for a much smaller screen. They didn't redesign it for PCs/Macs but then it's still passable on those.

Even if they just have the note chart and get rid of the background effects, they can still have my money, for the portability. Like everyone else, I'm hoping that the use of Uplay will make it possible to transfer DLC across to the new platform, but I'm not counting on it.

The most interesting part for me would be if you can link accounts or if you have to buy all DLC again...
