Anything that gives you motivation to play your instrument for hours (and enjoy that time) is a good thing for any skill level, I think.

it makes practicing a lot more fun.Got me to listen to and want to play music i would have never cared about.MY rythum is improved 10 fold Best part about it is you get real feed back and a sence of accomplishment everytime you play and i like to feel good ;-).
I stopped playing guitar after I decided I have to focus on my lessons and stop playing with my bands (I had two regular bands and I was 'guest' guitarist for a couple).
This game made me go back to playing. Fun? Yes. Anything new to learn? Probably not. Worth the money? Yes, for me.
