(1) Are you using a Realtek integrated audio chip? If so, install the latest driver from their web site.
(2) Try turning off audio exclusivity in RS.
(3) If those fail, you may need to increase LatencyBuffer or the MaxOutputBufferSize in Rocksmith.ini or turn off the Win32UltraLowLatencyMode. These are a last resort, since they'll result in higher audio latency while playing.
Other suggestions -
upgrade your drivers
ensure the cable and output are both set to the same 16bit/48Khz format
If youa re using surround speakers or virtual surround, try changing to 2 channel stereo.
Also, search the forums. We have plenty of threads asking this sort of question already. We're basically just giving the same advice over and over again.
But the overall sound of my gutiar isn't that good anymore and some of the auto pedals in songs make it sound terrible. Anyone else got this problem? I kinda wonder if its my gutiars battery as it is active but i've hardly used it since I got it as then neck needed to be stressed over days after finnaly figuring it out. (not enough concave, not even that sure how well it worked)
Have you tried raising the latency buffers like we've suggested in literally every single thread about this?
That's the buffer size. Leave that at default 0, and change the latency buffers from 2 to 4 before doing anything else. You can also try turning off ultra low latence mode and exclusive mode.
