Or, if that is too complicated for you, just open two explorer windows, one pointing at the folder where you unpacked the RocksmithToTab.exe, and the other at your Rocksmith2014\dlc folder, then drag any .psarc file from the dlc folder onto the executable. That will directly convert that particular archive.
using TUX not good sound but workable
I'm using it with GP6.
Generally, I think as a guitarist you probably won't regret getting GP.
But what a differance in sound.I do relize that TUX is a freebee so no comparision should be implied.I was already gonna buy GP6 this made up my mind. Plus I am pretty sure I can save tones from my mustang in gp6. Thanks CABAListic and Rogue203
GP would be way better than any free app. Goplayalong has a free version, sounds better than TG, has very good (but slow) pdf exports, and loads later GP files. It does have some cumbersome restrictions. Tuxguitar can also export midi, which can be loaded into GarageBand or whatever recording/mixing software you use.
That said, I should just buck up and buy GP.
got mine here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006M6AR7M/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1/178-3889681-0974333?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_r=1F4MW2BGP65TVRGH3G9M&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=1535523722&pf_rd_i=B003KT4CRA
Whaaaat - you guys getting a commission or something?
But thanks again to CABAListic for his work. It has been helpful to just stop and study the songs in tab format. Sometimes I'm just overwhelmed by the visual onslaught of songs w/ higher note intensity, and seeing them static helps to lay them down.
