I tried yesterday, with no error messages of being down.

But if it eventually going to happen you might be interested in this community made alternative called Rockbuddy. It does the same and more.

While very commendable as an alternative, Rockbuddy doesnt do "the same and more". It's not a global leaderboard, tracking the score of every player. It only tracks the players who use the app, and you should have known that fact if you were one of them.

So dont use the good will of the community modders as some damage control to justify why Ubisoft can't maintain a basic server for tracking the scores, or directly implement community servers.

Rocksmith+ servers are next and you'll be there to find excuses for Ubisoft as well... But there wont be any community modder to save that sinking boat then.

Have you signed the European citizen initiative "Stop Killing Games" by the way? It already got 300,000 people signed in to clarify EU legislation about game scams as a service. I heard Ubisoft was a direct inspiration to it...
https://www.stopkillinggames.com/

Yeah, John he's only here for bashing again. And speaking without proper knowledge.
He's not even using Rocksmith anymore since he's shilling for other apps.

Didn't even check the app if you say it has less functions.
And what's funny, Rocksmith records the score streaks from all over the world... Yes that's true....from people using it....So if falls away, you got nothing.

Thus even more reason for people that want their leaderboards to go use the community mod.
Oh I shouldn't give that information about the good will of community modders because it's suddenly not a good mod then?
Like for instance in comparison for cdlc and rsmods, only because Ubisoft should take care of it.
You just want people to have nothing right, good argument there.

Tell me, why those other mods were created already? Right, to give an alternative when Ubisoft doesn't...

That's sure sounds as finding excuses from your side.
And don't play dumb for that european citizen initiative, you been pushing that from the beginning. Which I don't disagree on btw.

It's just that I heard the first initiative was started in the UK, and was dismissed by the judge. Don't know the exact details, but I think the legality of the agreement was stated very clearly and as user we agreed to that, so there was no case to be held, in which a government could have influence on.
Might give me better pointers if that's wrong what I heard.

This other initiative might take a few years longer to take action, knowing the European Union, which in the meantime can mean, the servers stopping anyway. And it's not likely those would be restarted, if it's dismantled, gone is gone right. If it is reinstated, all the better.
But better not wait on that.....
You can use both at the same time...

I am on the scoreboards lol, I've got 100% on a few songs on bass in my day 👴

>Oh my we now have the reddit moderator and the paid RS+ shills

Yes yes, everyone is a paid shill. You have 214 hours in the game, calm down

Are you confusing "scoreboards" for being Top 50 on a song? I don't even understand what you mean... if you beat a song on Score Attack you get on the leaderboards.

Back to the topic: The Score Attack servers have been down for weeks, at least from my experience.

What is Ubisoft doing to address this? Will this issue be fixed, or is it an intentional push to encourage users to switch to RS+?

Removing functionality to create demand wouldn't be exactly a customer-friendly or defendible approach.

Rocksmith+ doesn't have score attack or leaderboards, not much correlation there.

lol I am literally on the scoreboards for many bass songs, I don't understand what you are misunderstanding. If you beat a song on Score Attack you get on the leaderboards. Congrats on your Wires score though

Opened a ticket with Ubisoft's support.
Unfortunately the reply is very disappointing.

"We would like to kindly advise you that we have stopped post-launch support on this game, as our development team has moved on to other projects. We have no further updates planned for this title, so this issue will most likely remain in the game."

Surprised they haven't shut the servers down by now , 10 years on and a new version out and they still keep them running , that's pretty good considering it's Ubisoft

It's only enablers like you who made it possible for companies to cease their services with no afterthought for even patching their games for offline use or allow private community servers to take the relay.

You're so delusional you literally think ones and zeroes on a hard drive are meant to age like milk. In the age of big data, server farms and mass archiving on numeric formats and virtualization, you come with a ridiculous take to justify why your favorite billion dollar corporation isn't willing to spend 5$ a month for a login and score server that could fit on a raspberry pi.

Keep making up excuses for them while trying to convince anyone you ever even used score attack. I wont even bother to search for your name on the boards, I'm sure it's nowhere to be found.

Too bad this guy is gone here, but he can go bounce on Steam's door now too.
https://mp1st.com/news/valve-updates-store-to-notify-gamers-they-dont-own-games-bought-on-steam-only-a-license-to-use-them

Text (if the link doesn't work)
Steam has recently updated its store to clearly tell customers that they don’t actually own the games they buy but are instead purchasing a license to use them. This change comes as Valve prepares to comply with a new California law, which will take effect in 2025. The law will require digital platforms to clearly explain to buyers what they are truly getting when they make a purchase. Although the law is not yet in effect, Steam has already implemented these updates to get ahead of any potential legal issues.

Previously, Steam mentioned this information only in the End User License Agreement (EULA), but now they have made it much more visible. When you add a game to your cart, you’ll see a clear notice that states, “A purchase of a digital product grants a license for the product on Steam.” This move ensures customers fully understand they are buying a license, not a physical or permanent digital copy. Note that this message is for everyone, regardless of your location, and is not exclusive to those living in California (based on our testing).

Downloaded it and used it. I love the concept of this custom leaderboard. I'd only wish they could make an implementation to use this instead of the broken Ubi leaderboard.

So I guess the leaderboard has lost support? I enjoyed it many years 🤷‍♀️ Sad to see it go
