311's Beautiful Disaster has been a ton of fun playing, and even a begginer like me could play it at almost 100 difficult.
Also the entirety of Bachsmith, classical on guitar is just... lovely.
Fear of the Dark is also a lot of fun to play :)
Rush is great on lead too. Other DLC I enjoy playing
Biffy Clyro
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
Foo Fighters
Black Keys
Volbeat
Mostly bass, but works for lead as well:
Primus
Some of these haven't made it to DLC for RS yet. Just wait with baited breath.
Did you hear about the bassist who was so out of tune his band noticed? ;P J/k
I on the other hand have no idea why his taste matters when answering the question what DLC we like playing and recommend :D
That's true and I get your point. I'm also not trying to argue against it. I also agree that given enough of an audience and time, you'll get a recommendation for anything and everything as well.
But you're right and he's right, and that's why I like music so much. Opinions vary but there aren't any wrongs.
However, (for anyone else reading this), don't mention the damn RT cable, or else you're Freaking wrong!

It seems pointless to me to say "YEAH SLAYER IS AWESOME" if it turns out that he totally frigging hates metal.
Pretty much yeah.
Well, what I consider a good song to learn someone else might think is silly or pointless or whatever.
I would rather someone play some Barry Manilow and absolute love what they play and find that liberating, rather than trying to play something I like just so that they conform or look cool to others.
Not trying to get on a soap box nor was I trying to be a jerk from the list I gave. I do like to give my opinion on this from time to time though in hopes that it inspires even one other person to branch out of genres or what the mainstream determines music to be. I feel that doing so will actually make one a far better musician in the long run.
As I said though, no one is wrong for asking this question as it does have it's fair point. This is just my point of view on this topic and not meant to offend anyone.
Sorry to interrupt our regularly scheduled broadcast.
