Humming noise that won't stop
I got Rocksmith a few days ago, the first day I had trouble with setting up the realtone cable, but got it to work after a bit. But every day after that the game has made a humming noise, I've tried re-calibrating in the tuner, as well as plugging in the cable into different ports. The noise only stops when I play a note, but whenever a string stops vibrating it comes back.

If your on the lead path the default tone that loads is very noisy.switch paths ansd see if it is less noisy. Some times this is releated to a grounding problem. How close are you to wireless device and stuff like that
What type of guitar do you have

I just tried switching paths, and then switching back and it worked. Thanks for that, it was getting quite annoying. Edit: When I go back to the regular menu as lead it still makes the noise :/

Know how you feel got no noise with my LP but my strat is awfal on the lead path till the song starts. I made a tone in tone designer and set it to # 4 and just hit 4 if its too much to bare ;-) those are nice guitars also you might look into a sound hole cover it will help out some

I had this happen a couple of times... If you got into the audio options there is a slider to adjust guitar sound levels. I was able to move the slider left until the hum was gone.

The Tone Designer seems to freak this setting out sometimes. I know the first time I experienced it was after I did one of the "missions" to load a custom tone.

Does the sound go away or get a lot less noticeable if you touch a metal part on the guitar?
