Difficulty of Lessons riffs/tracks... too high?
Am I the only one who thinks the riffs and practice tracks in the "Lessons" section can be very difficult? I know they're supposed to be challenging in order to teach, but - man. If nothing else, I wish I could turn off the instructor guy saying "Let's slowww that down a little" so many times.

I wish there was a way to practice certain techniques (like bends, harmonics, etc.) besides the 100% perfection needed in the lessons OR the high-speed frustration of Guitarcade. Just a simple, endless loop of "here's a bunch of bends, practice away while we keep track of how well you do".

TL;DR - the lessons can be too hard, the Guitarcade games too fast. I just want a way to practice at my own pace - but still know if I'm getting it right.

Yeah they can be difficult... Especially the Bending lessong. But, the best advice that I can give is just do your best to get a couple of them down. Go play some songs, then come back to the lesson. The first time you will get the general idea... As you play, your hands will get stronger, you will get more comfortable, and when you come back to the lesson it will be a little easier. Then go play some more songs... then come back to the lessons to increase your skills. And so on.

Some skills on guitar will just take a little more experiance playing before you can do them. And that is OK.

If I remember correctly (IF, I'm not sure...), there should be a guide with all the lessons' tabs transcripted.
Doesn't help for guitarcade (sorry :P), but gives you a way to practice the practice tracks without the "Let's slow that down a little" from the lessons.

Try just playing the practice tracks of the lessons. You don't have to achieve 100% accuracy on those, and you have full access to Riff Repeater, so you can control the speed and difficulty.

is it just me or my guitar doing something wrong or does the game just not register the bends very well? getting 100% on that lesson is pretty difficult even though i feel like im doing it correctly only to get a missed note.

How long are you playing the guitar now ? I had the same problem, or at least i thought i had but it turned out that i thought they were correct but in fact they weren't, simply because my hearing wasn't developed enough.

Don't have the problem anymore aside from some timing stuff where i think my pc lags behind to register notes in time.
