Some skills on guitar will just take a little more experiance playing before you can do them. And that is OK.
Doesn't help for guitarcade (sorry :P), but gives you a way to practice the practice tracks without the "Let's slow that down a little" from the lessons.

Try just playing the practice tracks of the lessons. You don't have to achieve 100% accuracy on those, and you have full access to Riff Repeater, so you can control the speed and difficulty.
How long are you playing the guitar now ? I had the same problem, or at least i thought i had but it turned out that i thought they were correct but in fact they weren't, simply because my hearing wasn't developed enough.
Don't have the problem anymore aside from some timing stuff where i think my pc lags behind to register notes in time.
