Why does the guitar sound like garbage?
Since I saw the remastered version come out, I figured i'll revisit the game. So I got around to start the game and i was greeted with horrible sound coming out of the amp sim, sould like i'm playing out a fuzzy tin can. I havent played the guitar in a few months on this so i have no idea what would cause this. The only thing that changed in my system was a windows 10 upgrade and the rocksmith update of course.

People seem to have problems with Windows 10. I learned along time ago that new release OS are worth avoiding. It's a terrible lesson.

Wouldn't the devs fix it? The OS is been out for quite a while now.

I use Win10, as do many others here, and have had no issues using RS or my guitar with any other software. If you haven't changed anything aside from the update, make sure that you didn't neglect to update all of your drivers. That could certainly cause the issue you're having. Try that and if you have any other issues, feel free to let us know and we'll do our best to help you.
Best of luck. :2014pick:

You can try toggling Audio Exclusivity on or off. For some, their devices have issues with it being either on or off. If that still doesn't resolve it, try this.

Easier than me typing it all out and likely easier to understand and follow.
Bad Guitar or Bad Sound Card.
