if you get it, it will be a subscription service game only (as that is what the new Rocksmith game is going to be)

The drum kit for Rock Band is already a pretty good drum trainer tbh...

rock band drum kit is no where close to playing real drums

A Rocksmith program with E-Drums would be amazing though right? Or is this just me...
But most likely not many people have E-Drums/V-Drums so prob a pipe dream.

That's sort of the problem... It'd be more or less impossible for a piece of software to tell if you're playing drums correctly using a traditional drum kit...

For someone like me with V-Drums though, I feel like I could learn a Ton from software like this. Even more so with "Mods"

RS drums already exists; it is called "Clone Hero." It is my latest obsession...without compromising Rocksmith practice, of course.

Here is a an example of a dude playing it.

even with Electric drums it would be almost impossible mostly due to Every drum set is different with different amount of peices. this is why we dont see 12 strings or 5 strings guitars/bass modes in rocksmith

however i could see them doing a piano mode

I think they can do a simple; Snare, 3 toms, high hat, crash, ride.

You could cover a good amount with just that, much like the video above.

But I totally get what your saying, Rush would be a little hard to cover LOL

If you just want to learn rhythms and patterns. Rockband Drums are fine. Just download clone hero and get yourself a rockband pro drumkit.

If you have VR Paradiddle does this exactly, I've been LOVING it.

If you already have a drum set, what are you waiting for? It is a lot of fun; plus practicing drums helps playing bass and guitar too.

I used these three videos to get set up with everything.

Enjoy! :2014pick:
