Plugged in Real Tone Cable and Messed Up All My Microphones On My PC

I've been sitting here for a couple hours trying to get the Real Tone Cable to work on my PC. (Mind you it works perfectly fine on my PS4) So finally after sometime of owning this game on Steam I decided to play it on my PC version and not my PS4. I went to go plug the cable in and I was sitting on Discord not talking much and when I plugged it in it removed my Astro A40s/Astro MixAmp Pro TR from being my main source of Input/Output audio, which isn’t normally a problem because I can just easily reselect it. The problem is when I did this, I sound like I am whispering to everyone and it’s extremely irritating because I can’t raise my microphone levels through Windows Settings, through Discord nor through the Astro Command Center. To top it off I have an Audio Interface (MOTU M2) connecting my Audio-Technica AT2020 mic which I alternate between here and there but now it is failing to read this mic. I’ve become frustrated and annoyed at this point and would’ve preferred not to play this load of garbage if it was going to alter all my PC setting and render all my microphones basically useless. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yes, go play RS on your PS4

The game needs exclusive access to the sound settings. While you can disable that, it doesn't really help.
Especially If you have discord and a audio interface, which do not work good with the game. At least not at the same time. I have my audio interface disconnect (unplugged) when i play RS, and use discord on my phone or tablet.
Also bluetooth headphones mostly don't work and mess things up.

I don't use discord, but you should have an option in it's settings to select what mic it should use. You'll want to change it from windows default to whichever mic you prefer.
