As you say, Yousician has a cleaner interface, and in particular I like that they show down and up picking for rhythm playing, which Rocksmith doesn't. It's also more convenient to casually play around with, since you don't have to boot up your PC.
But on the other hand, Rocksmith's song library simply wipes the floor with Yousician. There is obviously no subscription fee either. Rocksmith's riff repeater function is better, and it has a lot of options to mess around with tone. Session mode is a thing. I also love being able to play split screen with another person.
Tabs do work nice, and the mic receiving for an acoustic is better.... Does it work for electric guitar?
Anyway that subscription is a big turnoff for me. Sure if you share it, you can split the money i guess. Must be a new feature to get more people, but not working for me.
So no, not superior
It's just different and has heavier focus on timing and learning basics (chords, rhytm by putting full song but with basic notes). Now i just use both, around hour each every day
Yousician is nice, I wouldn't say its SUPERIOR. not even close but i wouldnt dis it either
Also it can play Rocksmith dlc files.
Main difference is it doesn't show you whether you hit notes or missed them, but it works great otherwise.
