How many Official DLC do you own?
So, the 40% sale had me pick up the last 40 or songs I wanted for Rocksmith.

If you look at your library, on the right hand side there is a panel that says "Manage my XX DLC". Where 'XX' is the number of official songs you have purchased. Mine right now is 296. So, assuming that I purchased every song during a 40% sale (I did not); that would be aprox $530 worth of DLC. The actual figure is probably closer to $700, because many t of these I'm sure I did not wait for a sale to buy. Just curious how I stack up against other Rocksmith players.

I purchased this game on Launch day, for reference.

Wow. That is amazing. I only play bass; give me a couple more years I guess, maybe there is still room for my library to grow after all. That is so true, and gives me something to thin about. I have only bought DLC that I knew I would enjoy playing; maybe I should branch out and get some other tracks that I am not familiar with.

But then again i've put 2.1K hours in on RS. (not including the initial hours i put in on the Xbox version separately, as i was resisting annoying a house mate).
(& yep I pre-ordered).

As of right now, i have 100 Dlc´s , on the other hand, there are about 550+ Cdlc´s in my folder. Purchased the game about 2 years ago and have around 660hrs on record

Well I'm most likely around the 300 mark. I bought some on the PS4 and now I'm using the PC. Because I can't get my kids off the PS4s I have. So I'm collecting them o Steam for the PC.

I only have 71 paid DLC songs right now. There are still a bunch more I would like to get, but I buy them pretty sparingly since I tend to stop playing for large amounts of time (trying to fix that, though). I also pretty much only play bass. I own a guitar, but I never got to take lessons for it (I did take bass lessons for several months at least), so I'm absolutely clueless with it, lol.

Too frickin lazy to add up all the costs, most have been purchased during the sales but have paid full price more than once and have been gifted as well. That said, it's telling me that I own 1671 DLC. I plan on increasing that number once again while the current sale is still going on :steamhappy:

That is certainly a lot!!!

According to the wiki, there are "only" 1447 songs available as DLC.

Comatosedragon it must be counting some of my CDLC then, it just says that I own 1671 so I would have guessed that to be Official DLC's. I have a few CDLC with white thumbnails tagged as DLC, I wonder if those are being counted? I own no where even near half of the official DLC so something is buggy with my count somewhere. Thanks for pointing that out brother, no longer thinking about the guitars I could have bought with the money I've spent on this game, lol.

Nothing buggy with the game you've modded it and added illegal songs so it's counting those songs. It's not something the software was designed for.

Thanks brother, it's playing songs without fail so I definitely am not complaining. Could it possibly be counting the unofficial songs due to having some mixed together in the same file with the official DLC? Does anyone else experience the white thumbnails labeled as DLC? Says song something centered in the plain white block (can never remember exactly what it say despite being a relatively easy couple of words to remember.) Some have the CDLC tag while others are tagged as DLC. Strange but the songs play so I enjoy them. Thanks again,

512. took me a long time to get here, I think I only ever bought DLC during sales.

My Rock Band library still dwarfs Rocksmith though

I don't how to find out how many songs I own. On the main menu I can see an option, "Learn a song" and my songs are listed there. But I can't see a count of songs. Or is there some other way to view my library?

Just go to your main Steam RS page, it is in the right hand column, where it says "manage my DLC."

Mine says 1278.

I didn't really start buying DLC until after I discovered CDLCs. It made me want to support the platform. There are quite a few songs I've purchased that I have never even played. I find, when I buy DLC during these sales, I quickly go right back to playing AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and all those other bands that should be here. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn from just about any artist.
