Well I never used the og cable RS. But....with serious software like neural dsp, sincerely, my low end guitars sounds almost the same as my 1500 ones....I even consider to buy me a new 350 one....
And with RS beta, the sound was just fantastic for a game.
So I think yes, for 100, it s very very good investment.
I use it for everything, guitar, games, movies...
And take in mind getting stuff to work might need some more tech knowledge in getting it to work, it might improve. So if thats not a problem for you sure,
The only things that make it better imo are the sound effects you can include. But I can already include a pedal board (amplify Fx100) with the cable so for me not really necessary ( i do have a steinberg inferface aswell).
I also have a behringer uc6102 aswell, but just use it when playing with music on my tablet or on the move (less to carry).
I think the scarlett would be the better choice. More people have tried it, so if you run into trouble you might have more backup.

Not really, but it makes it sound a little better! Thanks!
