Notes cut out after a couple seconds?
Whenever i try and hold a note or a harmonic rocksmith cuts the sound, and it does it on bends as well, but when i connect my guitar to my amp i can clearly hear the notes being held or bent

Only thing I can think of that might be an issue, is your volume on the guitar is too low

It’s set higher on rock smith than on my amp, and I know it’s not the strings, or if it’s my guitar pickups because I use Ernie ball m-stee skinny top heavy bottom(.10-.52) and my guitars a shecter synyster custom sustaniac

When you mentioned it happening while bending and it cutting out, made me think the string is fretting out but that Schecter has a pretty flat neck radius. Still might be fretting out due to a couple high frets thus causing RS to lose track of the note. Keep an eye on which fret your trying to sustain or notice it cutting out on and try to listen for some string chatter (preferably in a quiet environment). A neck adjustement to add some relief may be warranted too as that fixed notes dropping or registering in error on one of my guitars. Good luck!

It’s only rock smith that the note cuts out on, I can still hear it ringing out when I listen to it by ear

I hear ya, but I'm telling ya, any little fret buzz (not always) can cause this even if it you can hear the note acousticly by ear. Acousticly do the notes ring clean with no string chatter? No problems in RS calibration?

No string rattle unless I have my sustains pickup on, and maybe it’s the calibration

Do you have a second guitar you can try to see if same happens? Yeah make sure that sustainiac is off. Redo calibration, as from other posts, RS has a noisegate that gets set at calibration. As the string volume decreases I guess it could cut those notes off it not calibrated correctly.

Nah I sold my other one, because it barely held tune and was kinda hard to play

try making you buffer 1 higher in you tools menu and also raise the RTC gain one point and skip calibration

Cool I’ll give that a try as well
