song will not unlock i been to uplay club web site and and spent them gold coins to unlock the song but the game just say's to go to uplay

yeah, i had those problems a few times, but it's just the problem, that you aren't really logged in in the game. And further more you need to accomplish a few missions/tasks in the game. That's how i unlocked the song.
But maybe it's a different problem? I don't know :/

i'm have logged in to the game i know this coz when i do 3 more songs come up that are locked at the top of the list

and i have got the achievement Ernie Ball’s Long Streak Special "Get a streak over 250 that bridges multiple songs" and Nailed It! "Play a Solo at >95% Accuracy"
but you just meat to be able to unlock this song with the ubisoft coins ?
i spent about an hour playing on uplay today just to get them coins

First, there will appear locked songs at the top of you song list. Those are just advertisements to get you buying. But it locks to the in game shop, which doesn't work when Steam bought. Then you can only buy separate from Steam store.

The deselate motion song will unlock with coins from the club rewards in Uplay program/app, not through the website. And also one fretboard inlay.

You can also get more songs and inlays for the fretboard later on.
They unlock itself ingame if you have reached a certain level in the game, or missions done.
Don't know which missions or when. Not with coins though.

But i do believe the connection with ubisoft needs to work when starting RS. Mind you, that's not Uplay, that is a newer app. RS uses its own older connection type.

That's what im getting at i what to the uplay club web site and spent the coins to unlock deselate motion but when i login to the game it is still locked and when i click on it it's says go to the uplay shop but that just opens up the uplay web site

Do you have the connection established with Ubisoft servers when starting RS?

Can it be you have more than one account at Ubisoft?
Because it locks in on one, and if it differs from the one you used to get RS key into Ubisoft, then it won't work either. U need Ubi support to straighten that out.

Do you have Uplay installed?
You can check in there as well the status of RS and the club rewards. Instead of the website.
There should be a green marker at that song reward. And the text, accessible in RS.
You should also be able to start RS from there, it should start the Steam version though.

I have also linked my Steam account to Ubisoft, maybe that could make a difference?

Had to see this for myself. Just logged in https://club.ubisoft.com/en-US/ and still saw the option to get Desolate Motion. Since I already have it, I downloaded the Ubisoft Fretboard inlay instead. Worked fine, so dunno. I can only assume that the reward is still available, but the support is not if you have problems, (based on the info posted above). I can only guess though.
