Rcoksmith does not start

I have the same issue as described earlier (Rocksmith wont start)

on Win10 x64 v1703 updated 10.Mai

starting the exe gives error missing dll msvcp100.dll ( then msvcr100.dll)

both files exists in system32 directory

copying these to rocksmith dir results in a different error at startup

i've not started rocksmith for about a month
and in the meantiime installed and uninstalled other programs

my rocksmith also wont start everytime i launch the game it only shows a pop up saying preparing to launch and will close after that nothing happens. tried to verify the game and even re install still not working. i have played this before i think a month ago working fine but now nothing happen.

any help will be apreciated..

Get the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package from there

This will reinstall the "missing" DLL from a reliable source and hopefully fix your problem. It could be the Windows-Update replaced the DLL with one not working with RS.

i deleted and redownloaded/reinstalled from Steam, without success

Then i found the vcredist 64 / x86
in SteamApps\common\Rocksmith2014\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010
after installing (repair) these it works again !

Thank you soooo much! My computer recently updated Windows 10 with the Creator Update and Rocksmith didn't seem to like that. Tried everything but this was the only method that worked.
