I do not know the name of the strings on my guitar, it is not me who put them, but I will try his strings, thank you !
I'll keep you posted if it changes anything
(Again, if you don't understand, excuse my English, I translate using google translation)
Boss GP-10 works wonders for all alt-tunings but requires a special pickup.

The Digitech Drop pedal works well with RS.

Another option, are multi effect pedals that have some kind of pitch shift feature.
Headrush Gigboard has several drop tuning options, but the digital delay that has pitch shift sounds best to me.

You could just ignore Rocksmith's judgment and play it anyway. If it sounds good to you that is all that matters.
Hmm but the song isn't progressing in the learning phase when Rocksmith isn't acknowledging the notes. :-/
guys,if u downtune a guitar....this have nothing to do with thicker strings or so.
thicker strings are only making the sound of ur guitar more hollow and more suspense for the rest of it.
but nothing more!!!
neckposition, measure and so on are even more important.
PS:i don't remember,Amon Amarth songs are on tune B-standard??
