Missing DLC FIX!

Hey,

Some of you may have experienced missing DLC on Mac/PC, I too had it. I have now found a fix.

Open Steam, Righclick on Rocksmith 2014.

Click on Manage, then the top right hand tab, DLC.

In DLC untick any DLC that isn't working, click apply/ok and then close this window.

Rocksmith should update, removing the DLC.

After it has, restart Steam, repeat this process but RE TICK the DLC which is now unticked. Start with the song packs, then each song in that pack (didn't work for me otherwise).

Click apply/ok and close this window. Rocksmith should now update.

Start Rocksmith and play your missing songs!

If this doesnt work!

After you have unticked the DLC, updated Rocksmith and closed Steam.

Open Finder, search for 'Rocksmith 2014'

Open the Rocksmith 2014 folder, then open the 'dlc' folder

Find any songs in here that are not working in game and delete the file, then empty your recycle bin.

Then proceed with restarting Steam, Re ticking the DLC and letting Rocksmith update.

I didn't lose my progress on my songs, but your milage my vary.

What about just erasing the game, dlcs, etc and starting over? It must have something to do with the database tracking.

Seems to be that the DLC issue comes from a saving error after the DLC was played.

So I played my game, 4 DLC tracks, across 2 track packs and 1 single song.

Steam updated

Those two track packs and that single song was gone, everything else was fine.

This fix can't possibly work, because one of the symptoms is that the DLC is *not in the list* in that dialog box.

Not saying it will work for everyone, but people of the forum who were having a problem with DLC select DLC going missing after an update have used it and found it to work.

I at no point claimed it was a fix for all DLC issues.

I had the same problem but it does seem to slowly get better. i got some songs back by pure luck by going to the big picture mode and checking my library dlc.Some missing songs showed up there and i checked them and they reinstalled. still missing a bunch.

What to do if the songs don't even show up in the Properties -> DLC tab? I KNOW I had purchased all available Avenged Sevenfold charts and they are just gone now...

did you ever get a fix? im experiencing the same issue with this dlc
