Master Mode NOT Working
I want to play Master mod with ghost notes/invisible notes, but It dosn't work in "Learn A Song" mode. I have switched Master mode 'on' in play settings.. Max override and DD are both off..
Any ideas how to fix this?

Are you playing well enough? I don't know if you can force it.

For me, it simply took a few extra playthroughs before it worked. Like, it's practically an easter egg.

That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up then
In the Riff Repeater under Advanced Settings there is also a Master Mode setting for On/Off. Maybe that has effect on the part of learning the song.........?

If I remember right max override effectively turns off master mode or it could DD off. One or the other.

that master mode is also on
Found some info on the Ubisoft forums, which helped people, so it might help you aswell
Here a short summary, below a link to Ubisoft forums

Is it only happening for this song?
You could test it by playing Blitzkrieg Bop a few times and see if it drops into MasterMode properly...

Some songs seem to really hold back on going into master mode.

One missed note and it could hold off until the entire next verse is cleared without a mistake.

You just gotta hit every note just right on some songs.
---------
Found two answers that are somewhat contradicted

Go to riff repeater, select the whole song. Run it up to 100% difficulty. Ensure the Master Mode = yes. Then you'll have to play through it several times before it starts to enable it.
Or
Start playing the song in Learn A Song mode
------
Go into Riff Repeater and set the difficulty to anything below your mastery level (I put it at 90%)
Hit Resume Song and play it through to the end
Play the song again and Master Mode might kick in with a bit of luck

++++++++++++++

If you really want MM, then go into Score Attack and choose Master. No questions then (except you might have to unlock Master by first fully playing Hard).

++++++++++++++

If you don't want to see the notes, don't look. Watch yourself in a mirror.

It just starts randomly for me on songs i have either 100% or close to 100%. the first time the notes completely disappeared I thought something went wrong but picked up what was happening.
