Calibrating always brings me back to tuner

When I calibrate everything seems to work fine. When I have to mute the string the pointer is down and stays within the blue guiding stripe. When I have to play loud the pointer is rising and within the blue guiding stripe as well.
After I did as instructed from the calibration screen it show the loading icon and after that it ALWAYS brings me back to the tuner where I can skip the tuner, abort or go back to the calibrating again.
This keeps on forever and therefore I can not do anything in Rocksmith. I hear my guitar and everything seems to work.

Any ideas what's happening here?

Did you tune? Calibration make sure the software can hear your guitar and sets the max and min levels. Then you need to tune each string to the right note.

go to the tools menu.>set calibration to manual>.start at 2 and work up to best setting for you.

yea the calibration on this thing was a bit wonky the first two times I tried it. after the second time i figured out what I was doing wrong and not it plays beautifully.
