Rocksmith is super broken for me
After a few weeks of playing this game I have realized how broken this game was and I want it to be fixed.

First of all the crashing, after being in a session for no longer than around 40 minutes the game would freeze my entire computer and have a windows xp crash sound. This is the only game that does this (none of my other games crash), this isnt even a computer intensive game I can run other games fine.

Second of all multi-tasking, if I were to alt-tab and then tab back in the game the game would be a complete white screen unable for me to see what I am doing. Another thing is that I could be talking to my friends on discord and my mic and audio gets muted, I legit do not know why this game is broken for me.

If anyone could help me with fixing this game on my computer which I dont know why this game doesn't run fine on that would be amazing. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

This game is a surprisingly graphically intense game. You could try turning down some of the settings in Advanced Video like MSAA, Venue Mode, and whatever else you feel like you don't need. It might also be worth updating grahics drivers. Even though other games run fine, this one may not jive with what you have installed. Don't use the Windows drivers, go to the website and get fresh ones from the appropriate manufacturer.

It could also be worth ending some other programs in the background specifically audio programs. Rocksmith wants full control of your sound systems to perform its best. If you want Rocksmith to stop stealing control of your mic, right click your sound icon in the taskbar and select recording devices. Choose your mic, then go to the advanced tab. Uncheck "allow programs to take exclusive control of this device" it can bugger things up, but it should allow you to talk to your friends while you play. In the game there is also a setting for audio exclusivity. You might have to turn that off too.

Alt Tabbing can be a bit hit and miss for most games. I don't have much to offer other than the same advice above.

You definitely have the horsepower to run the game. Try taking down your overclock on your cpu and see if that remedies the issue. Any heat issues?

Have you tried switching to windowed mode? That should (at least in theory) fix the white screen problem.

thanks ;-) but most people won't go to you profile if you have a problem.A windowed mode would be the only soultion .as mentioned above . I ditched win 10 after its release . so good luck . Privicy settings I see fixes a lot of different issues in win 10 from cable issues to freezing
