DLC not appearing in library

Hi, I recently purchased a dlc song and when I want to actually play the song in "learn a song" the song isn't appearing.

It normally takes up to a few hours to appear

Also, check your sorting and make sure you're not sorting by favorites or some other catagory.

On the library page you should see a list of installed dlc. Uncheck the dlc that doesn't show up then re-check it. The game should start downloading right away. Load up the game and rock your new doc.

Typically what I have done is exit Steam. Re-enter Steam and the DLC is there and ready to play. Takes just a few minutes if even that.

So I downloaded the dlc yesterday and tried all of the suggestions and none of them worked. It's still not showing up in my library.

It's known that the DLC doesn't always alphabetize initially, so you will have to scroll all the way down to find them.

Additionally, here's some tips that have helped other users with this same issue in the past.

Make sure you are launching RS through steam, and connecting to Ubisoft.

Lastly, close out Steam and run Steam as administrator. Best of luck.

make sure you have the All Songs filter on then serch by title of the song

so just had a similar issue and figured out that if its a dlc song or pack from rocksmith 1 it wont download/install and show up in rocksmith 2014 unless you have the first rocksmith installed. and of course you would of also of had to purchase the key to make everything for rocksmith 1 work for rocksmith 2014

I'm having the same problem of DLC not showing up. I've had it a few times in the past and just unchecking/rechecking the DLC works but this time it doesn't. The particular DLC is Gary Moore's Over the Hill and Far Away but only the Nightwish version is showing up. It showed up once and I played it a couple times then disappeared the next day.

Sometimes, verifying files through the Steam client will trigger the songs to appear. Give that a try and let us know if the missing songs return.

I have a similar problem. Rocksmith on Steam for Mac. I have multiple profiles:

One for Bass (for my Bass)
One for Lead (for my Electric)
One for Rhythm (for my accoustic)

I purchase songs and some of them will only show up in one profile despite it having DLC for both guitar and Bass. For example - Smoke on the Water was purchased in July 2020.

In this case Smoke on the water appears in my play list for Lead and Rhythm but not Bass.

Even more confusing, when I look in the Rocksmith Shop, some of the songs I have obviously purchased do not show up as having been purchased even though I can see them in my playlists.

In either case (when a song is purchased, and whether or not it shows in my play list) If I select such a song from the Rocksmith shop, the Steam Store opens the page for the song and shows I already have it.

Sorting has nothing to do with whether or not the song is listed.

I have altered the sorts, and even used the Search field to find songs by title.

Reading through previous posts, I have logged out and in to steam without change. Rebooting the computer doesn't change the result. If I go to the Steam Library - I don't see any DLC listed at all. Unless there is an option to list DLC that I haven't located.

Kind of scratching my head at this point. And, without going through every single purchase from my purchase history I wont really know the extent of the problem.
